Healthy School Project Competition 2024-2025
“Creative Healthy School Lifestyles”
The theme for this year's competition is "Creative Healthy School Lifestyles," aims to enhance students' awareness of healthy campuses while fostering their creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. This competition is open to all secondary schools in Hong Kong, including students enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IBMYP). Teams will be categorized into Junior (F.1 - F.3 or IB Grades 7 - 9) and Senior (F.4 - F.6 or IB Grades 10 - 12) groups. Each team consisting of 4-6 students, is invited to create innovative plans that involve developing new products, implementing new programme, or enhancing facilities for healthy living.
The competition consists of three rounds. In the 1st round, all teams will submit proposals with a budget. 16 teams will be selected and sponsored with up to HK$3,500 (reimbursable) to implement their plans. In the 2nd round, each team will submit a 5-minute video and report their project outcomes to the judges. 8 teams from both groups will advance to the Final Competition.
The champion, first runner-up, and second runner-up teams of both the junior and senior categories will receive cash prizes of HK$20,000 (including $4,000 book voucher), HK$12,000 (including $3,000 book voucher), and HK$8,000 (including $2,000 book voucher), along with a certificate and trophy. The awards for “The Best Performance Team” and “The Most Creative Team” will each receive HK$4,000 and a certificate. Certificate of Participation will be presented to the rest of the finalists' teams.
