Healthy School Project Competition 2025-2026
“Smart Health in School”
The theme for this year is “Smart Health in School.” The objective is to encourage students to apply innovative technology to design and implement solutions that enhance campus health, thereby improving their learning environment and practicing a healthy lifestyle. The competition not only cultivates teamwork but also inspires students to explore smart campus concepts while developing creativity and problem-solving skills. This competition is open to all secondary schools in Hong Kong, including students enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IBMYP). Teams will be categorized into Junior (F.1 - F.3 or IB Grades 7 - 9) and Senior (F.4 - F.6 or IB Grades 10 - 12) groups. Each team consisting of 4-6 students, is invited to create innovative plans that involve developing new products, implementing new programme, or enhancing facilities for healthy living.
The competition consists of three rounds. In the 1st round, all teams will submit proposals with a budget. 16 teams (8 teams from each group) will be selected and sponsored with up to HK$3,000 (reimbursable) to implement their plans. In the 2nd round, each team will submit a 5-minute video and 1 page report to show their project outcomes to the judges. 8 teams from both groups will advance to the Final Competition. Awards will be presented to the Champion, 1st Runner-Up, 2nd Runner-Up, as well as the "Best Performance Team", "Most Creative Team" and “Merit Team” from both Junior and Senior categories.
