The Annual General Meeting of the Hong Kong Tuberculosis, Chest and Heart Diseases Association was successfully held on Friday, 22 May 2026. At the meeting, the Members of the Board of Directors for Year 2026/2027 were elected.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Vitus W.H. Leung, BBS, JP as the new Chairman of the Association. We extend our warmest congratulations to him and look forward to his leadership in guiding the Association to continue its mission and further strengthen its service to the community.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Prof John C.Y. Leong, GBM, GBS, OBE, JP, Mr Steve Y.F. Lan, MH and Prof Peggy Lam, GBS, JP for their outstanding leadership and many years of dedicated service as Vice-President, Chairman and Vice-Chairman respectively. Their vision, commitment and long-standing contributions have played an important role in the development of the Association, and we are grateful that Mr Lan and Prof Lam will continue to support the Association in their new capacities as Vice-Presidents, while Prof Leong will be stepping down from his role with the Association.
