• Elderly persons aged 65 or above*;
  *Persons aged between 60 and 64 may apply based on health and / or social grounds;
• In poor health or suffering from functional disabilities and need of personal care;
• Not suffering from contagious disease;
• Mentally suitable for communal living; and
• Applicants for subvented places are required to undergo the Standardised Care Need Assessment by the Social Welfare Department to ascertain their eligibility for service.
