Triglyceride is synthesized by glycerol and fatty acid, which is the major component of adipose tissue. Dietary fat is divided into saturated fat and unsaturated fat.

 

1. Saturated fat

It will raise bad cholesterol with high consumption.

 

2. Unsaturated fat

It will lower bad cholesterol with moderate intake.

 

Fat is a good source of calories, it facilitates the absorption of lipid soluble Vitamins (A, D, E, & K), and it is essential for vital organs and hormone synthesis
